Cheesecake made with Kefalos creme fraiche and fresh cream
Cheesecake is one of those delicacies that no one can say they don't like. What's even better than having cheesecake is making cheesecake. Try out this simple but delicious recipe for your next tea with the girls or after dinner delight.
Preheat oven to 175 degrees C’. Grease a 9 inch round baking pan.
In a medium bowl, mix cracker crumbs with melted butter. Press onto bottom and sides of baking pan.
In a large bowl, mix cream cheese with sugar until smooth. Blend in milk, and then mix in the eggs one at a time. Mix in crème fraîche, vanilla and flour until smooth. Pour filling into prepared crust.
Bake in preheated oven for 1 hour, or until golden brown on top. Turn the oven off, and let the cake cool in oven with the door closed. Chill in refrigerator.
Whip the cream with vanilla until firm and smooth.
Once you've reached your ideal stage of whipped cream, place the whipped cream over the cake and serve.
